Hi--I just randomly came across your blog through Blogger's "next blog" arrow. I enjoyed the Nesterov art you posted! Have you been to Moscow? I've lived here for four years.
I've never been there, but it's always fascinated me. Recessive genes, perhaps. I have Russian ancestors, very far back, as do most of the old British families.

Symbolist! What a find! Another thanks to you, Jeffrey.
Actually, Russia is a long way from the Orkneys. I too am nosey -- what is the story?

Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!
Ditto on the fourth one too.
God bless you, Jeffrey:)
Jeffrey - That's because both the English and the Russian ancestors were vikings.
For that matter, Rurik was an uncle or something to the founder of the Norse Earls of Orkney.
THAT'S the most beautiful annunciation's I've ever seen.
